On the Day of the Practical Test
On the day of your driving test we recommend that you have a lesson with your instructor the hour before your test. Your instructor will aim to get you there about 15 minutes early. If you want your instructor to sit in your test make sure to ask your examiner (ask when in the waiting room).
Also make sure you have the required documents with you, you'll need:
The only acceptable photographic proof of identity now accepted is a current passport.
If you're not sure you have the correct I.D. contact the DSA on: 0870 0101 372
Good Luck!! Just try to relax and remember during your test, drive the way your instructor has shown you. Do not change the way in which you drive!
Also make sure you have the required documents with you, you'll need:
- Your Theory Test pass certificate.
- Both parts (photocard and paper counterpart) of your valid, signed UK driving licence.
